Those are the stock and optional 18x8s (which are lighter, and I'd guess, forged).

In the graph (text) that shows the stock wheels it only lists the 17x7s and the 16x6.5 which are part of the customize grade that we won't see anyways in the US (IMO). Those 16x6.5 in the customize grade are steelies. Maybe there are some other 16x6.5s that are alloys and my memory is bad or I just can't read the small text :)

17x8 RPF1s are 15.6lbs and available in +35 and +45...

Just keep the wheels off your tC, man!

That's what I'll be doing. 3 sets of wheels? Yes please. :bonk:

NorCalRider 11-15-2011 05:57 PM

WOOT!!!!!!! Thank you OP!!!!!

Crashoverride 11-15-2011 05:58 PM

I telling you now if I can get a TRD( all TRD options, nice sounding exhaust), Blue, Hi-spec, 6spd, with my own 19in rims, I sold!!!!!! Oh and tint, slight lower too. I will modify it to my liking I will also keep it CLEAN, meaning no stickers, no "hella flush", no aftermarket metal wings, no fart cans ect. I may remove the SCION badging though and only keep the FR-S badges.
Then drive it like I stole it.

It's a Subaru thing... You guys wouldn't understand. :happy0180:

Snoopyalien24 11-15-2011 07:15 PM

So, why would you have extra gauges if you dont have a turbo? Wouldn't the dash show the oil temp, fuel, etc?

And oh yeah I see charcoal gray, I hope its that Subaru Charcoal Gray

xc 11-15-2011 07:15 PM

i fall in love with this car more and more every day, the only thing i dont like about this car is the light above the fog lights im hoping the remove that!! ohh and make it a turbo or have a supercharger!!!

Andy 11-15-2011 07:17 PM

TRD Edition,

Veni, vidi, vici.

That is all!

Aki 11-15-2011 07:27 PM

Ooh, reports of the hood being aluminum are true. Wish they were higher res so I could read em.

Dash will show water temp, fuel, RPM and speed. That's it. There will be an oil pressure idiot light as well.

Oil pressure and oil temp are more important than water temp by a longshot.

The dash usually just shows water temp, and even then it's basically only marked as 'Hot" and "Not hot". Most people will never need more than that, but people who will spend a lot of time at trackdays will want more. Oil Pressure at the very least is a good thing to keep an eye on, even better is a gauge with an audible warning and idiot light. Oil temp is a good one as well though not as critical.

fernan2 11-15-2011 07:52 PM

Any one knows if the supra like spoiler is an option for the ft-86? Cuz i sure want it.

I too will be going for the trd ver, but I fear it cost more than $30k :iono:

If it comes less, then trd for me, and a tune and that's it no more modding for at least 5 years

Alfie 11-15-2011 08:02 PM

XC: the light above the fog light is the TURN signal so that stays!
I wanna pop out the silly fogs and run tubing to the barakes!
With good HIDs like on the [A] TSX, man, fogs are not even needed!

same here, hope its not more then 30ish.

chulooz 11-15-2011 08:09 PM

Im sure someone will be able to wire that blinker to go off in the main housing... Im very interested in the differences of the TRD model.

Alfie 11-15-2011 08:11 PM

People, trust me, there are NO different fenders for the TRD!
If the lines look different it because the model is in SIVER which tends to show body lines as more pronounced!
Other colours will wash out these subtle lines. White is too light and any of the other colours are too dark to appreciate them.

That being said, The gauges in the center console will just replace what the dash has? Eh whatever, I still very much like the idea. Overkill IMO without an actual turbo but ehh lol. I can live with it :D

No, they will add to the gauges in the dash.

Zgrinch 11-15-2011 08:25 PM

Hurry up would ya Wings....:). Loving the TRD version.

Also looks like center console/cup holder area can be covered in chrome like finish.

True, I see a lot of areas on TRD differ from normal model. Those little things do make both car look different.
