Diff Fluid Change 02.19.2022

Diff fluid change to Motul Gear 300 after almost 43k miles. I bought OEM Subaru crush washers but misplaced it by the time I wanted to do the change. So I used some variety pack crush washers. Also changed the gasket between the front pipe and the catback. Still got a check engine light awhile later. Will replace the other gaskets when there's a warm day.

Also got a pic of trying to get an alignment at an auto body shop but my lip didn't clear the front wheel guards. Also went to get a quote to fix the fender, it was like $400? or $600?

Leaking Header Gasket 04.10.2022

Getting a check engine light for exhaust and figured it has to be the exhaust manifold gaskets since I already changed the other 2.5" gaskets for the rest of the exhaust. Got some Fel-Pro gaskets but the check engine light came back on. Going to try some thicker gaskets next time.

Curbed Wheel 04.20.2022

Well my dad drove the car and curbed the back wheel turning into a lot. Not sure if I shared but before this he curbed the stock wheel as well.

Leaking Header Gasket 04.30.2022

I was still getting a check engine light so used the leaf blower and soapy water technique and the header gasket was leaking very badly on both sides. I tried sanding the rust off but it was still leaking. Going to try thicker gaskets.

New Clip for Side Marker 05.02.2022

Got a cheap $10 side marker from eBay and stole the clip I was missing off of it. This time I put some epoxy to hold the clip in. It worked flawlessly.

Curbed Wheel 05.11.2022

My dad did it again :clap: Curbed the front wheel backing up into a perpendicular spot that has a curb on the passenger side. This time the lip got damaged and folded the front bumper too. Nice.

Curbed Wheel Fixed 05.12.2022

Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist in Gaithersburg, MD got my wheel fixed up right. Can feel a little edge of the paint where they masked the rest of the wheel off though but you have to really be looking for it.

Another Curbed Wheel But Got It Fixed 05.28.2022

Welp this time my sister curbed it. She claims didn't see the curb. Tore up both the front and the rear wheels. Went back to Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists to get it fixed. Came out very nice.

Hub was starting to rust or was it already rusting...but anyways from running no center caps, had to paint over the eyesore. Ideally would use gloss black paint but I already had matte around the house.

Rexspeed Wide Angle Mirrors 09.29.2022

Installed Rexspeed polarized/wide angle mirror with blue tint. It really creates a wider angle of view where the mirror adjuster is maxed out as far out and I can still see the side of the 86. I didn't know my 86 had heated mirrors and the Rexspeed ones aren't heated...so maybe one day I'll get OLM heated wide angle mirrors one day.

Whiteline LCA & Toe Arms 10.01.2022

Got Whiteline Lower Control Arms and Adjustable Toe Arms. LCA because the ISC arms' shortest length is stock LCA length which is way too long to get my desired rear camber of -2. So thankfully, these Whiteline LCA go get me there. Did toe arms too because I might as well since I'm going for an alignment and I got them for a good price. I went to Radical Tires in Silver Spring and wanted 0 toe around and 2.5 front, 2.0 rear. Tech didn't really get my desired specs....not sure because he was in a rush or he just doesn't care. He said once I sit in it, the camber will increase...I'm 135 lbs....

Perrin 19mm Front Sway Bar 10.02.22

Installed Perrin 19mm Front Sway Bar. I put it at the stiffest setting and I can really feel the car have less body roll during corners. Love it.
