What would you bring if not for the hyperblue? I haven't seen a hyperblue in person yet!

Well I guess I just wasn't sure what to expect as I haven't been to any meets/shows. I'll bring it though. I definitely like it and get compliments but haven't done much mods yet.

Not sure if the question was rhetorical, but I am pretty sure that BIO means bio-hazard. It could be anything from mold to you know what. Judging by the photo, I'm going with mold.

Clipdat 05-24-2016 02:39 PM

^^ lol, awesome mis-post.

To clarify there is no Bio hazard of any kind at Lake del Valle for humans. There is algae in the water and dogs are not allowed in the lake. Swimming for people is still allowed.

definitely bring it!

No one should be worried about how stock or mildly modified their cars are at this meet. I plan to be there in my basically OEM-looking car. ;)

Where you might be ashamed, is if you only wash your car like once a year or so. @finch1750 @Clipdat :bellyroll:

Clipdat 05-24-2016 10:18 PM

Actually it almost has been an entire year since my car was last washed: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...postcount=5959

Every once in a while, I find my frustrated wife washing my car. I haven't actually washed my own car in memory.

finch1750 06-01-2016 02:51 AM

2 weeks away!

Welcome Meng Motorsports back again as a sponsor! They have supported the Norcal86 community since the very beginning and have donated another killer HID kit if I do say so myself (and I would know since I have ran one since 2013).

Just so it's clear to everyone... if you wait until the last days or the day of the meet to pay for food/registration, you will be charged a higher price! The pricing model is designed to encourage you to plan ahead, register early, that way we can plan for a proper headcount and ensure we have enough food for everyone.

Do we enter on the day, or is there a pre-registration?

Just sent payment and registration for myself and a guest.

PMok 06-07-2016 04:03 PM

Be sure to stop by the 86DRIVE table at Summer Kickoff and say hi! You will get a sneak peek at the new limited edition 86DRIVE 2016 t-shirt design that finch and I cooked up, and it will be available shortly after SK at our local 86DRIVE drives and meets through the summer. You'll also earn one 86DRIVE STAR for stopping by, on our new 2016 club card. That's one raffle ticket earned towards our end of summer event raffle, don't miss out on a free and easy STAR!

Clipdat 06-08-2016 01:49 PM

Damn, nice prizes for sure!

EAGLE5 06-08-2016 03:47 PM

Just a thought: if you win something at auction that you end up not wanting, consider selling it for a charitable donation. It's much classier than pocketing the money.

Clipdat 06-08-2016 03:51 PM

Yeah, not a bad idea. Or if it's something you already have like lowering springs, you could consider trading it for a prize someone else had won of equal or lesser value.

Just don't be like the guy at the very first summer kickoff who won a Meng HID kit but had a BRZ (already has HID stock), and kept it anyway.

Good ideas. Or even just reraffle them. Make Norcal86 one of the most modded clubs around lol.

Clipdat 06-08-2016 05:18 PM

Ok, so that is an option too? For example if they pull your number prize for the GT Radial tires and you just put new tires on your ride 200 miles ago, just ask for your number/ticket to be thrown back in and let them re-draw for that prize?

Seems fine as long as people aren't throwing their number back in just because they don't want a prize, versus literally having no use for it.

Na. too many people would hold out until the big prizes were called. But like if I won springs (since I have coils) I'd just "donate" the prize right back and lose the ticket that was pulled. But no getting tickets put back in after it was drawn.
