The dealer actually had bigger rims and tires on my car when I bought it. They were not TRD I don't think but they were something the dealer stocked. They wanted $2,500 for them. Obviously I said "take them off or give them to me for free". I don't have them.

So I am going to have people jump on, smash into and spill drinks on my car everytime I play the wrong music?
They really are targeting a different demographic.

Yep, that's pretty much what it says...

2. The HP and Torque peaks are at exactly the same RPM NA and Turbo. Not likely.

Sorry but...

FAKE

But if toyota/scion changed the page before google cached it, the "real" numbers wouldn't have been saved.

It'll just be interesting to see where this ends up.

A very long shot, but ok, let's go with that just for fun. What then are your thoughts on the Turbo's peak HP and torque coincidentally being at the same RPMs as the current naturally aspirated model?

The part on the "real" numbers page that says available AWD makes it unbelieavable unless they come up with electric motors for the front wheels. At this point anything is possible but most of it is not probable. All just a waiting game and maybe some info will slip out at the Tokyo Motor Show this year.

This is like going into an ice cream shop and staring down every person as they order and say "but you could've gotten (insert preferred flavor) for that price".

Everyone has their own preference.

What's so special about TRD wheels? Just black n trd logo? Weight?

From the looks of it the TRD wheels offered to North America are different from the actual version. The real TRD option wheels for the FRS are more of a traditional 10 spoke design much like the Enkei J10 without the lip. As far as I can see it's simply a cosmetic upgrade for those that are JDM fanatics.
