Nice build man. I think ive seen this car before. You go to the PZ meets, right?

Snaps 04-26-2011 03:14 AM

BoostJunkie - Just going to get them repainted to a colour very similar to stock, maybe a little darker. The wheels are badly curbed and the paint on them is chipped (previous owners fault, not mine :D), so I just want to get them back to as-new condition - I've always liked the clean stock look.

I'd.. love to have a photoshoot with your car BoostJunkie. Lol But you have to live alll the way in Texas. :(

Sad. I'm losing my JDM Supra. It's going back to my buddy, whom I bought it from a few years back. Need a bit of $$$ to get some business stuff off the ground.

Not Supra-less, though as I have a 86.5 7MGE hardtop with 335,XXX kms on it that I hope to be doing a minor restoration on so I can get 'classic' insurance on it (it's registered as an '86 and therefore 25 years old...).

That will make my Subaru my 'mod' car, but not really a legitimate performance one until I get a manual swap done.

SideNote*

Bought a new turbo which will be here sometime within this week, I asked the seller to send me pics of it, this is a brand new never used BorgWarner S366 with ETT, it has a .91 AR and is a 67mm and a twinscroll, i also purchased a turbonetics cast manifold to use until SP's F1 Tubular manifold is off backorder of several months, I will be incorporating a QSV(Quick Spool Valve) on this new turbo along with a 4" DP with a 4" 11psi boost activated cut-out. Enjoy the pics, I'll post up the install once I acquire a 44mm WG and the 4"DP

Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics, I'll take some good ones when it arrives

C-Bone 06-13-2011 06:19 PM

nice, that SP pic just looks nasty can't even imagine how its gonna be when its installed... You'll definitely need to post a vid ;)

BoostJunkie 06-13-2011 07:47 PM

Will do!

I'm kind of unsure what size wastegate I wanna go with, I hear that for this turbo I need bigger then a 44mm, but then I hear some people say they are running a 44mm on there 67mm turbo and they get no boost creep at all, any input?
