Jack's is doing the installation and I can't speak highly enough about those guys. But as with anything, their at the mercy of their manufacturers and apparently our community isn't screaming loud enough for upgraded internals!

Even just having a stock 6th would probably open the market a little more. Is this a possibility, or are you in a position to know?

spitfire481 05-29-2015 07:11 PM

Yeah, we were asked if we wanted to continue with the helical set or jump ship and just use the par set. We are continuing with the helical set since they already have everything set up with the manufacturer

Let a professional drag racer take it out for a track day in a car making over 650 hp and bang them 1st-5th with No Lift Shift and if it holds up youll have a customer in me

Been through this gear set ordeal 10+ years ago with my Honda...Its gonna take awhile before i would consider anything proven, but its all got to start somewhere so this is very good!

I'm not a transmission guru but how does going to a straight cut gear increase the endurance 300 plus hp???

Large helix angles transmit torque into axial thrust. The larger the helix angle the more axial thrust is produced from torque transfer.
