I have this same issue, however, the problem for me, is that the end on my reverse light switch has been rubbed down. When the reverse gear is engaged, it's not sinking the switch down enough to trigger the reverse light/camera.

So I need a new switch overall. Does anyone know where I can order one of these?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...835c744af9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...79eb5cd19c.jpg

How did you remove it? I can't get at it from the bottom because the cat is in the way and I can't get reach from the fire wall even with a wrench.

It's depressed to turn on not a constant on like a door switch. I checked the user guide and i tried to unplug the switch up top when in gear. It's so strange I have reverse indicator and the reverse beep is working but the lights flicker when i wobble the shifter or when it moves when in motion. Super frustrating.

I did it from up above, just reaching back.

It's not super fun.

Did you end up removing any parts to make access easier? I can’t seem to get my arm back their either and I really want to remove my janky “fix”

I had a buddy down below and I worked from up above, if i remember correctly.

I have a lift at home now, so if it happens again it should be easier to deal with.

Resurrecting this thread since it was helpful to fix the reverse light not coming on and to comment the method that worked for me.

I've removed the old/faulty switch clip and plugged in the new one temporally so it dangles from above and to make it easier to grab the bolt end from below. Then, I've jacked up the car and accessed the bolt from below. In order to access the bolt, I needed to remove front pipe so my hands could fit through the area. Once I've created the space, an open ended wrench could be snaked between transmission and transmission tunnel to loosen the bolt. Reverse the sequence to install. *Keep in mind the wire will twist as the bolt is tightened so the clip end needs to be removed to unwind and reinstalled*
