Stopping 1/4 to 1/2 way there at a rest stop for 15mins would be good, not only to stay fresh and loose, but also for anyone that was lagging behind so they could catch up. Also make sure the person in front either has their nav unit on or knows exactly where they are going so we avoid what happened at the goodbye Kohei's car meet. ;)

Also stopping for some fresh air would be nice and to make sure my hearing is still ok after an hour of being blasted by catless exhausts

You kids need to save your ears while you're young. I promise it will catch up with you. Tinnitus is awful.

Is there a problem with cell service along the I-5 corridor? Anyone else have a ham license?

Tommysfrs 04-12-2015 01:36 AM

I don't have Motorola walkie talkie but I do have a Midland walkie talkie that should work to keep in touch

If everybody has a smart phone. Voxer is what I used when heading to lake Shasta a few years ago and that worked great.

I have two spare FRS band radios that can be borrowed by folks for the trip.
