You know when you take a dump, if you put a layer of toilet paper on the surface of the water, it will prevent the water from splashing your butt when the turd bomb hits the water.

True. Watched it on mythbuster.

I'm very picky and cannot decide.

FR-S looks > 350Z looks > 370Z looks

I prefer the hood lines (or almost lack of) on the FR-S. I prefer the stylings of both front and rear headlights on it as well. Hell, I prefer the stock sideview mirrors too.

What I really love about the 370Z (even more so on the 350Z) is what can't be seen on this picture : the way the roof "merges" with the back end of the car. I.E looking like a liftback.

Alphanumeric cars? XR4TI!

FR-S Better looking than ALL cars that cost less retail. Period! Or Name one!

Funny enough I came from a 370 to a FRS.
While I enjoyed leaving 640i's in the dust, and the look on the kids face who borrowed moms C250 as I blew him away 2 car lengths; there is nothing that compares to the day to day driving enjoyment I get out of my car. I was told I would miss the HP, but I haven't missed it or thought about it ever.

Bottom line I didn't trust the Z at high speed rates, I trust my FRS like no other.

A very fine looking girl with a white 350z parked next to me at the gym while I was walking towards my white 86. She was breaking her neck as I left.

FR-S/BRZ has flowing lines, 370Z has too many breaks and angles

Wise 12-23-2014 04:28 AM

Depends on the angle really.

Front and side profile I'd say the 86.

Rear quarter and rear I'd say the Z.

I really like the way the 370z looks. They took the modded 240z look and made the 370z like that from the factory. At least that's my opinion.

The 370z to me is the most true to the original s30z look out of all z cars. It's amazing they've kept it the weight they have. It's essentially remained the same, or lost weight since 1990, and is only 3-500 lbs heavier than the 280z(x) and z31 300zx.

Both the z and the 86 are sexy af. Just in different ways. I'm torn between the two honestly.

Regardless of what forum it is if you'll have to be an idiot to choose an FRS over a bugatti, ferrari or any car that obviously looks better. i'll still be unbiased and not pic the twin.. That being said.. i think the new Z's have ugly headlights.. the rear however i think looks better. I'll go with the FRS's front for this.

If the thread insults you get the hell out of here and shut your trap, with that in mind... we should use the space for more specs, actual problems or valuable information regarding the twins. The car you choose is entirely up to you, after all you're going to be paying for it, modding it.. taking picturse of it.

I suggest reading up on OP. Backlash is no surprise.

I'm not a big fan of the Bugatti (to me it looks a like a touring sedan someone lowered and riced up to make it cool), and the Saleen S7 to me looks like a bad kit car from the 80's that had a little better fit and finish paid to it.

I would take the below over either of those cars, even if handed to me, but again, looks are totally subjective, so to each his or her own I say.

To answer the OP question, the FR-S is better looking than the Z in the photo, but it would be a tight race if they had stuck to the 240Z shape and updated it rather than turning it into a bloated whale of a car over time.

Ahh well I didn't know that muscle cars were Kosher on the tuner Forum! I already have my old school dream car. 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS.
