Good point Cartman. I don't live in the desert, and even my CF hood and trunk lid are showing signs of wear and tear. Oh well, time to paint them body color like I've been meaning to do!

Looks pretty good. Reminds me of the Celica TRD wing on the Action Package. Not sure if I like how it hangs out to the side though but I like this better than the Nuremburg wing.

Yeap, did he install myself. It mounts with double stick tape. I think the key is to make sure the surface is clean and then to also use the adhesion promoter before installing the spoiler.

Now that it's on there it feels rock solid, I guess time will tell for sure. I've done some other parts on other vehicles with the same 3M tape and 7 years later they are still on and holding strong, so I'm not too worried about the spoiler.

Nur Spec is waaaay to big for my taste. it is overkill for the speeds this car will hit on the track as well.

^ agreed!!!

I just worry about car washes and stuff. In the winter its too cold to wash the car myself.. and you really need that undercarriage wash to get the road salt and crap off the bottom.. so I really hope that something like that will hold through 20 or more car washes per season.. Thanks for the tip though.. because that, rims foglights and snow tires (on the stock rims) are the first things i will be getting next yer when i get my car.. perhaps even before i get the car..lol

Does anyone know the part number of the TRD one?

Loki2x 08-04-2012 04:49 PM

So by now there are at least 6 rear lip spoilers. I plan to get one and i'm sure there will be more by the time I get my hands on a BRZ. So far what I know of is,....

STi

TRD

WALD

.... and Carsmo

I need a lip that is low profile and subtle...Tamon designs is awesome, but I'm looking for something similar to the STi without following the contour inwards on the trunk. Similar to E46 M3 lips

S2kphile 08-04-2012 11:53 PM

IMO,

1. TRD
2. Carsmo
3. Fiveaxis

First mod I'll do is replace the OEM with a TRD.
