About 800 dollars from a breeder in Kentucky. Drove out there to pick her up, and don't regret it for a minute. She's had some health problems, so vet bills were killing me until I got pet insurance.

If you're in a highly populated area, they run about twice as much.

The name of the breed is a Samoyed.

What insurance provider did you use? (I'm only asking bec. I had a bad experience with one), I really prefer vet discount programs instead

Here's dope #1 and dope #2. Just like in the cartoons or animal kingdom my cat does not like my dog. My dog don't care, my dog don't give a shit.
My dog is a pure breed C0cker Spaniel and my cat is an exotic cat (so NO she's not a mutt). :bellyroll:

I'm a bit of a dog dork, and I can never provide a short answer to a question. I'll break this up into multiple posts.

Sunrae. Or first dog. Yellow Labrador Retriever, came from Labrador Retriever Rescue of Cincinnati. She's a very smart, very persistent little dog.

This is Humphrey. He was our first foster and first foster failure (which means we ended up keeping him). He's my boy, he follows me everywhere. He's just walked in and sat upon my feet actually. He's a bit of a brat sometimes.

Also from Lab Rescue of Cincinnati. Humphrey was dropped in an overnight drop box in the later December. He has a 1" wide scar that goes all the way across the back of his neck. No idea what it's from. Perhaps chain or rope rubbing his neck?

Our third dog is Abbi. We're her third and final family. First family moved and didn't take her. Second owner died. We fostered her for Lab Rescue of Cincinnati for a few months, then decided to keep her. She's our old girl--she'll be 8 this summer. She's a sweet girl, two bad ankles and full of shot.

Other random dog shots, including some other fosters. There's Sebastian and Lori the great Pyrs, and Lilly the pit mix.

Here is our 4 lb Chihuahua Zoee and our 13 lb Main Coon mix cat Riley at the park together. They are both wonderful. Zoee is a friendly quiet chihuahua and Riley is an incredibly social, super soft fur-ball.

Great thread!

This is Cody, he likes puppy toys and high quality affordable t-shirts. :D

Goldie the cat is harder to photograph, we'll have to work on that.

Nice to see all the variety of pets. It makes me happy to see all the happy critters with their awesome owners. I wish all the pets out their could have good homes with great people like I'm seeing here!

We have two cats: Milo (american shorthair and tabby mix?) and izzy (some kind of mix of calico and abyssinian). Milo was found hiding under a car in a parking lot as a kitten before he was taken to the shelter where we adopted him a few days later. Izzy has an unknown background she was dropped off at the shelter by an unknown person. She was aggressively climbing the cage walls and following us around and we just kind of say that she picked us rather than us picking her. We learned that she was only one day from "the big sleep".

Milo isn't much of an outdoor cat and would more likely play and sleep with a rat or mouse than hurt it. He prefers to sleep on a lap or on some warm blankets. Izzy, on the other hand, is a killer. Despite being a small cat, she acts as the aggressor to larger animals constantly (small complex I guess).
