Just as an FYI, the 10 series narrows the gap a lot with the Limited and you should consider it as well depending on which features matter to you. Below I think is an appropriate comparison and I'm pretty sure the price is almost dead even.
Both have: Push button start Upgraded headlights Auto climate Differences still: Front grill design difference, Scion's considered more aggressive Scion10 has more powerful stock stereo (+100W) and arguably better touch head unit (no nav) Scion10 is only one paint color Silver Ignition BRZ has leather seats and heated seats Scion10 is a true "limited" edition with only 2500 made Scion10 has light-up badges, a plus or minus depending on your opinion Scion10 doesn't force a spoiler on you unless you choose one. My personal opinion based on where I live, there are two things that made me prefer the Scion10 when shopping. The better stock stereo (had no plans to install anything) and the arguably better looking grill design. I live in Arizona, I'll never care about heated seats and don't want my skin to stick to hot leather, so I didn't consider those lacking as a bad thing. I also didn't want a spoiler, I liked the more clean look for some reason. Anyway, that's more info for you to chew on. |
Your body doesn't even touch the leather...it's a "leather" seat with Alcantara inserts. Essentially, only the front of the head rest, the sides of the cushions, and the bolsters are leather. The portion where your body legs rest is Alcantara.

Yes I do.

To me, the seats alone were worth the extra money. If I couldn't have gotten a Limited model, I probably would have just bought a totally different car.

I'm happy with my Limited purchase. So many features for a bit of cash.

Should only be about $55 a month more over 36 months vs a base FR-S assuming they sell for $25K. I know there are people here that have paid well under $27K for a BRZ Limited manual. |

To be honest I got a premium because I was still in school and unemployed at the time of pre-order so I just got the cheapest one I could get without dealing with my AWFUL toyota dealership. I was expecting to already struggle to pay for the premium so no point in having the limited (yes this means I should have stayed away altogether). Regardless, the alcantara and center stack alone make it worth it. I would have swapped out the trunk with a BRZ premium or FRS owner and then just dealt with the push start. Everything else I like. Either way, I have no regrets :iono: |
I've never looked back, and thought "I should have saved some money and got the premium". Completely happy with the limited.

Asking BRZ Limited owners to justify (in their mind) the extra cost is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Of course we're going to say it's worth it...

The difference in price for me was $25 (more) a month for a BRZ Limited vs a BRZ Premium. Dealer seemed much more willing to move the Limited's off the lot. Too be honest, I was not a fan of the spoiler but there was not a single Premium at either local dealer that did not have it. Dealers claimed they were installed at port...

Oh and I got it in automatic because it's more BALLER. Only poor people can't afford an auto cause it's $$$$. |
Wait wait wut? I thought BRZ HID Headlights were standard in both, premium and Limited?
I'm getting the Limited anyways, but is that right? I thought HID Headlights with LEDs built in were standard in all BRZs. Similar to Nav.? |
