I like the general look, but the empty wheels are crying out for a BBK. (or RBBK: really big brake kit)

I agree wholeheartedly with this statement. If you like big wheels so be it, but the caliper covers have to be the most pointless thing I've seen out of the aftermarket over the past few years.

Well... Even though the OP's style is the opposite of even my spectrum, I can't muster of up the courage to bring him / her down about it.

I suppose that's what a forum is for... Invites all sorts of opinions, eh? ;) :D

"what's the absolute least amount of money I can spend to put the biggest possible wheels on a car that will look stupid afterwards?"

Accurate Race Shop 12-05-2012 12:04 PM

There is a guy who has went much bigger he had to cut out the fenders to make them fit. And he put a smoke stack on it. Not for me but it's his money he asked me not to post any pics because of all the "haters".

I feel bad for the OP getting cut to crap like this. I have refrained from giving my opinion but here it goes:

If you remove the caliper covers and the giant wagon wheels it looks great! Those wheels make your brakes look way too small!

The striping is personal taste and I'm OK with the colour combo if you are.

Sevs753 12-05-2012 12:18 PM

The wheels are too large for my tastes but its nothing compared to what I see driving around Detroit everyday. Personally, I really like the color scheme of your car. The orange with black accents looks great!

What candy bar logo are you planning to put on the door?

Rayme 12-05-2012 12:19 PM

You bought the wrong car for you, you'd be better of with the 300 crowd with caliper covers and big wheels - they will cheer you over there!

So basically this guy you speak of already knows he has poor taste and doesn't want to get called out for it? lol

I don't understand the lengths people will go just to be "different", seems more of an attention-whore kind of behavior than anything. For all the people calling everyone haters, it's called having an opinion, you tend to get those on an open forum.

Hey I used to own Need for Speed Underground. I thought 20's were siiiick on everything. S2000 on donks = hot fire race machine!

20s dude?
Go big or go home.. :D

I agree with you about the way that OP is getting hammered here. But when you post online, this kind of abuse or negativity is a possibility. If I have a problem with someone's choices, I personally wouldn't blast the person or call him out, I would just keep it to myself.

ToxicSneakers 12-05-2012 12:56 PM

That is a bold and original statement - I applaud your style and color choices.
