I like the interior.. It's basic, controls are simple to use, befitting of a proper sports car.

less things to distract me from doing sweet donuts in the walmart parking lot and collecting speeding tickets

its simple and it works, good enough for me

To me interior speaks (90s) which is awesome being a dude in my 40s. :)

This interior would be even better if higher grade materials were used. Love how simple and timeless the designs are in the interior. The only things I would change are the circular vents on the sides (should be rectangular), dash angled towards driver and an armrest to put crap in.

I actually prefer the FRS interior. Simpler and allows you to focus on the road. I always feel like there's a million things I have to fiddle with (OCD perhaps) before taking off in my other sedan

The print blends the pieces into the dash rather than highlighting them the way the brz does. Also people don't get that cf really doesn't do a lot for cars. It's more form over function 90% of the time. If Toyota had actually made a print that was supposed to look like cf but wasn't (let me point you towards the carbon look package on the e92 M3) I would be bummed. This is t supposed to be so close to real that you question the authenticity of the material.

Actually I watching some video clip on the FRS and one the Toyota Engineers was actually explaining where that design/look came from. It's not supposed to be CF or represent fake CF, but it their is actually some meaning behind those bat looking symbols.

The interior is fine. Not having an armrest sucks, but there's a few nice options that won't break the bank. The only thing that bothers me is not having a standard double din size head unit

brzr 10-01-2013 12:22 PM

i also like it......

i even like the fake carbon fiber

there's nothing about this car that i don't like....to me it's perfect just the way it is

I love this car. The interior is a sportscar interior. The seats ar light and hold me in place, the HVAC, lights etc are easy to figure out and use. They put the money in the places I have always wanted the money put... in the engine, RWD layout, style. They made the sportscar Ive always wanted.
The interior is handsome, no lace, no fru-fru, no fat. Lean and mean.

I agree. I know what real carbon fiber looks like. If Toyota wanted to make fake carbon fiber .... I think they could of done a better job at it.

Interior is great aside from the rattles in my opinion. I wish they would have give the rear seat a smidge more leg room, but I think that's probably asking too much.

autobrz 10-01-2013 12:56 PM

I'm perfectly happy with the interior. The only thing I would improve is the stereo but it works as a basic radio with presets and as a CD player. The bluetooth connection is nice, too.

It looks as sporty from the inside as it does from the outside. Having a BRZ limited does help with the appearance of the HVAC controls though...
