I really can't believe how great this thing turned out to be. @KAB-FRS did am amazing job, and everyone who attended made it happen. It was super nice meeting eveyone.

Now, I must say my day had a sad end, a rock flew to my car and dented my roof, even one spot completely lost paint. I will post more details on a separate thread. But ANYWAYS, that was going to eventually happen so I'm honestly not mad, C'est la Vie.

Thanks to all who made it and to all those who didn't, I wish you can make it next time. We have such a blast!!

I second this. There's some HPDE events I've been looking at with Hookedondriving.com. There's also Chin motorsports, but they have more fees. HoD is running Dec 1st @ PBIR, and in January @ Homestead

I think (this is all speculation) if we can get a group of something like 15 drivers, through some group we could rent a track for ourselves.

Depends on which track. For PBIR you would be looking for at way more drivers than that based on their current pricing.

PBIR charges:

$11,130 for a weekend track day reservation. 9a-5p - 36 drivers needed to get the price down to $309/pp

$6890 for a weekend evening 6-10pm - 23 drivers needed to get it down to $299/pp

I included taxes to get a bottom line price.

I'm attaching the full pricing sheet, weekdays have lower pricing.

would have love to come to the meet lots of personal things going on btw anyones white frs who lives in cutler kay?

yomny 11-04-2012 10:04 AM

Raul that's great info, it'll be great if we could do that. HOD charges 299 for their events and that includes a lunch(nice one). I also belong to chin and they charge an annual fee of 30 bucks plus the admission for each event which is about the same 299. If we could get the track for our selves for that price it'll be awesome. I'm planning to go to the December run at PBIR as the last time I went was raining.

raul 11-04-2012 12:28 PM

Yeah, also, Chin will charge $75 instructor fee if you're a novice. HoD seems to be the least expensive option.

F3dzo 11-04-2012 12:35 PM

Tony from fara motorsports does 299$ for a track day with instructors down at homestead. Ill get more info for a possible event in the next couple of months

Same fee as HoD. It just comes down to date and which track is the most fun.
