When i put the pre-order in i asked for white, didn't realise how much i would like the WRblue. so when i ordered online i put WRB down. They told me that they had already allocated me a white one from the pre-sale.. i am still happy with it, i was still not sure i was a blue car person haha.

OK, lucky you. Looks like i am in for early next year. But was told "that may change, but plan for next year". Either way, i am happy I got called back and Natalie was up front. I'm happy to wait for the car i want, and it means the $$$ can grow and the bank may not need to be involved.

Gave up and gave them a call, apparently my dealer STILL hasn't transferred a contract confirmation to them. Dodgy! I might send the the scanned copy that I have.

Should be getting the car around October/November, which is quite late by oh well, better than a GTS!

Apparently dealer pre-orderes still went through prior to public, most public orders will not be delivered until next year.

I spoke to Natalie today. She told me, as far as she could tell, my car will be here 1st quarter next year. Awesomeness on a stick!!!

(and yes, she does have a great voice. i wonder if i should check again tomorrow?)

Complete opposite here! I put down blue as my first pick, white as my second. After the whole online thing I was told I was getting a white one in August, a week later it turns out I'm getting a WR Blue in October instead.

Hope that means they are giving that white one to me :burnrubber:

They had 201 vehicles for this year, 1 went to Subaru museum, 27 to VIP orders, 60 to dealers as demonstrators, 1 or 2 got destroyed for safety testing. That leaves 111 cars. Some have been built and are going to people now, but number unknown. Which means they are getting around 18 cars a month for the rest of the year!

VIP customers get theirs first (vip = people who pre-ordered prior to March)

pre-orders after that (inc myself) get cars before the end of the year.
anyone else can go to bed each night and cry about the thought of having to wait 6+ months till they get their car.

in other news, if anyone wants to buy a White MT BRZ with leather, i have one for sale in September for $65,000... :| hahaha

Not me. Put it this way. Not having it is the norm; it is not like I have lost anything. I didn't have it a year ago, I don't have it now. I am looking forward to getting mine with great anticipation. I usually check the engine and suspension threads at least 3 times a day to see if there is anything new to put on the shopping list. (I think my shopping list is great!).

Captain, i am in the same boat as you, and like your attitude. Plus we get to put more $$$ in the bank. Also, i hope all the inevitable glitches in the early cars are ironed out by next year. I wonder what the earliest date is that we can get a 2013 build? :thumbsup:
