crickets come and go i pay them no mind. I have 103,000 miles on my 2013 FRS. I did not waste my time with replacing the pump it works fine and is still going strong.

Almost 50k miles since I last noticed mine, stopped hearing them before I hit 10k miles.

2017 Toyota 86 with ~500 miles and no chirp that I hear or recognize yet.... Car was built in August 2016. Now how is that a 2017 model ? I will wait longer before I vote though. Using only 91 or higher octane non ethanol too. Might slip in a bit of Mercury 2 stroke oil for preventive wishing !!

Model year means exactly that. When the next model years are released as early as June of the year before then of course they are built that year.
Do not start pouring shit into your gas tank. It is not a two stroke engine and contrary to some unconfirmed statements it won't do a thing.

Yep, the first 2013 BRZ rolled off the line 03/12/2012.
