Regardless, 400whp/~2800# does not compute for 128 traps--my math says it's closer to 430-440whp.

But, hey--I hope you're right, since I'm looking for ~400whp here shortly from my setup.

I am a (cooler weather) drag racer as well--so I'll definitely post up my results after I go.

Nice! We must make a track day thread lol good luck to y'all that go as I know the track can be deadly lol so that I'm 2800 and 430-440 I should trap 128 :)

You're right, id say 430 would hit 128. Either way its badass and look forward to your results :party0030:

Poo-poo 1/4 mi all you want--some of us like to know what kind of power our cars put down AND how quick/fast they are. The MPH in the 1/4 is better than any dyno on earth to me, determining the real power my car is making.

Put that in your pipe & smoke it! lol

Well played my friend. I would still have a R8 V10 with 6 speed over a Gallardo flappy paddle. I am still waiting for the normal R8 to fall within my budget. :(

Smart thinking, lambo gear boxes are a pain in the ass , and the r8 is a very well built supercar but awd :(

While I am an AWDLOL guy, the R8 torque split of 15-30% front and 70-85% rear is acceptable.

the LFA on the other hand is a pain also!!!!! but the $400,000 price tag sigh!! i can only dream

Yeah true, if you want to drift an r8 it's do-able, and in addition german supecars are just so well made that they make you question if they actually are supercars.
Italian supercars lack the perfect refinement of Germans but hey that's something that makes you like Em.

Kochinopride 09-10-2013 03:53 PM

Too many R8 V10s around me. I'll be happy with the MP4-12C spyder next spring :)
