Really looking forward to seeing the finished V8 and how it performs. Its going to be so much easier for him to drift over the Supra.

ZetaVI 03-29-2012 12:14 PM

I love how of low it is. Can't wait to see some video of it being tested.

poormans_LFA 03-29-2012 12:29 PM

they probably killed the weight dist. but whatever this is a drift car. big fan of pumped up wheel arches...the body kit is not bad.

Actually IS-F's engine isn't that really heavy. Also he have put some of the weights on rear to even the weight much as he can.

Damn! Nice find!!!!

It amaze me the most is that's he's shake down/warm up drift. Also he doesn't even have a spoiler too.

Just amaze me...

That vid was EPIC! Sounds amazing and I love how it hits the corners. :eyebulge:

Exhaust 03-29-2012 01:28 PM

I love the way she screams, but quick question. Wouldnt swapping a V8 affect handling and weight displacement?

yes, but he have put some unnecessary stuff in the rear, so it'll even the weight much as he can. Also IS-F's v8 engine's isn't that extremely heavy

bFreed 03-29-2012 02:06 PM

Plus that heavy rollcage... In the end, it's worth it for the torque. Definitely a cool swap compared to LS motors and other stuff...

MarkRacerX 03-29-2012 02:46 PM

What a Swap - Cool he kept it w/ Lexus swap in the Toyota Family! What a BEAST !!!!

Sasquachulator 03-29-2012 06:47 PM

If you're willing to pay well over $60k

tlp 03-29-2012 08:59 PM

I wonder how much that 5L V8 offsets the weight distribution.

Nevertheless V8 FTW!

zoomzoomers 03-29-2012 08:59 PM

Damn that is sweet!

colHolm 03-29-2012 09:04 PM
