As someone who spent over $5k on professional track coilovers and suspension bits and doesn't track, I understand.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to get a grasp on why one would need more than one keyboard. To play different computer games ....?? I recall, back in my youth, we would play lots of card games. There were many different types of decks of cards ..... however, any one particular game was played the same, regardless of the deck. So, why did we have different decks of cards ...?? You tell me .......;) Now, what's with the different keyboards .......?? :iono: humfrz |

Right now I am in the middle of doing a diorama from the opening scene of T-2 for my son. It is going to be a pretty hefty project. Maybe I need to start a new thread where people can share without feeling embarrassed. |

The biggest waste of money for me was rear lower camber arms by SPC. Nothing wrong with them- they are very good quality and do the job. I just don't run a lot of rear camber- though I am running about 1 degree more neg camber than stock- however I'm still in spec.

A brand new motorbike was my biggest waste of money. I should have spent $3k on a used bike.

So many choices.
Cars- If I had invested the money that I have spent on cars and modding cars then I would be a rich man. But they have given me a great deal of joy (and some angst) during my lifetime and taken me where I wanted to go so in hindsight, I have no real regrets. Obscure collectibles- I get on kicks from time to time and have to buy things that suddenly interest me. I have a set of 9 Choro-Q Toyotas that cost me about $120 by the time I pieced it together from the small bore models I wanted. I have a set of Ebbro 1:43 scale models of the Toyota MR-S models that raced in Super GT and the BRZ that raced in GT300. I have a huge collection of BattleTech books and manuals. My wife and I have a big collection of Harry Potter stuff. Most likely, when I am gone, someone is going to cash in on all this stuff. |

I have several hundred un built model kits around the house and buy more all the time. Since it can take me a month or more to do a kit I probably have enough to last until I am about 120 years old. Still don't consider them a waste though since I enjoy just owning them. |
There is or was a guy in Silverton Co. who paints brass steam engines and charges a small fortune. Maybe you are building and painting the wrong model.

I'm curious how many people would now say "bitcoin."

Wanted in on this thread so bad, I went and bought one of these. Girlfriend was dragging me through Bed, Bath and Beyond and I was numb and suggestive. Sat in it, hit demo mode:happyanim: and bought it.

A House.
Most significant amount of money I've lit on fire and that's from a guy that races cars. |

But I did it anyway. |
Got scammed out of $400 for some "$2500" home theater speakers. Young dumb and was approached by a van selling them out the back door.
Gave them to a family member for free. Oh replacing the transmission on my old integra. Then immediately finding out that there was a hole in the floor and the driver seat was collapsing through. Plus all the fuel lines were shot so they wouldn't fix the floor until the lines were replaced. |

Where have YOU been? Which reminds me of a back-in-the-day story. It was a hot day in July ......................................(hey, WHO cut me off? - :mad0259:) ..................?? |

That reminds me.
Food. Sure is nice when I get it, but all I'm left with is a big pile of sh*t. |
