I liked the original headlight style much better :sigh:

Maybe same headlights but orientation was flipped? Hope they flip them back.

Looks like they did away with the fogs/front brake ducts too and slightly altered the front air dam design.

Otherwise, looks okay to me...

Does this mean the new concepts hood is smaller? I dont know if its the angle, if you look at the height difference, you can clearly see the new concept hood is shorter?

hmm i meant, the bumper is shorter and the hood is bigger, correct me please

Im not liking the bottom of the new front end.

look at the corner of the new front...its out of place... Sign.. toyota why did you changed the bumper.. It was just perfect to my taste... Please get the concept bumper back on and change what ever you wanna change in hood or headlights..

The front reminds me of the nsx racing concept.

I know the first concept's bumper is better, but it may not be good after rising 50mm on the bonnet.
I think aftermarket lip kit will fill out something that is missing here.

I hate strip club. Just show it naked already, I can't stand it.

Tougerenner 01-26-2011 02:46 PM

At least a toyota logo is still on the hood.... for now.

Wow you guys must have x-ray vision or something. There just isn't enough detail for me to make any concrete decisions. I'll wait until geneva to see both the subie concept and the FT II then make a final decision.

From what little I can see it doesn't look like they screwed it up too much and that's good.

Allch Chcar 01-26-2011 04:09 PM

It looks like they are keeping the shark nose prominent. Still no venting other than through the airdam. Headlights are still angular and aggressive. Not much of an opinion here.

More curious how the rear upper quarter is going to look anyway. As that has a bigger effect on the aerodynamics than the front upper quarter.

stevens8 01-26-2011 04:47 PM

I like the ft II front end a little more than the original. Waiting for the Geneva show now:)
