I'm very happy with my current Reference set up with the front tweeters, 6.5" woofers and sub but was wondering if the addition of the midrange and rear speakers would make a noticeable difference.

Same exact question... I asked OEM+ but haven't received a response on the differences. It'd be nice if we could see a spectrum analysis to decide if the midrange drivers actually make a noticeable difference (not that I doubt OEM+'s work or anything.... but you know)

@ajcarson11

So sorry to learn that you asked a question and it was unanswered - crying shame!!

Please allow us to put together a visual spectrum analysis that represents how the 4" speakers contribute + matches our brand guidelines.
@FreshFRS there are some notable differences between the 2015 / 2016 head-unit primarily related to the interface (2016 Scion Display has no CD player). However the connectivity (installation) and output characteristics of both radios are identical (thus O+ signature tuning is the same!

Count me in for results! was thinking of adding the midrange and rears + retune but wanted to first see reviews and results. worth the money?! :D

I have a complete system. Tweeters, front mids, rears, doors and sub. I like it alot. I tried without the rears, but I like the fill it adds for a more complete surround as opposed to front only. Worthwhile in my opinion.

I feel bad for those that think quality should not come at a cost !!! I went to OEM Audio a month or so ago for a complete system. Install took a little longer than anticipated, but this is a '16 BRZ, w/ the Starlink. My 2 1/2 hr. drive home took 6 (thanks LA, on a holiday no less)...Point is, not only does this system fnnn rock, these guys were all very professional. I dealt with Sandy, as Daniel was home having a baby LOL ( Congrats again on that endeavor). Point is I am EXTREMELY SATISFIED with ALL the work the team did to make this system the VERY BEST...I do not believe anyone could make this system, for this car any better, and cost less...Thanks OEM Audio Had to come back and edit ") !!! As an earlier post mentioned...I had to listen to Rush 2112...OMG !!! The sound was as phenomenal as being @ a Rush concert in the 70's !!!

Is the OEM Audio + sticker on the subwoofer enclosure a vinyl graphic?

Will OEM Audio Plus have a demo booth and car at this year's Boxerfest http://www.boxerfest.com? Seems like the perfect opportunity to give enthusiast a chance to listen to your system.

I would love an opportunity to hear this system. Might even sell a few on the East Coast. :)

+1 on this! I'm close to getting the rears and mid range, just need to hear the full system or a sale on the two items to push me over the edge and buy it!!

any updates?

Agent 86 03-24-2016 07:36 PM

Looks like I may have lucked out... there's a local guy that's willing to let me listen to his system. I hope the system is as good as all the testimonials.
