Well the G's is turbod, and it still doesnt have high torque numbers. I was hoping for WRX numbers..

bah torque doesnt matter that much, its not a low revving V8 ;)
and besides its not like your gonna have a tow bar on the 86 :p as long as it keeps the torque there and has enough power, it can be made quicker and for anyone that thinks you need high torque to make a race car quick think of a rotary |
I meant the newer WRX's (265 HP, 240 something Ft-lbs). I agree track driving wouldn't be bad without torque, but day-to-day freeway and hill stuff is going to be a pita. Especially with a 6speed..

Doubt that the torque would be that low on the turbo car. Calculations say that it'd be making 203ft-lbs @ peak hp, so I'm guessing peak tq would be a bit higher.

I have 331hp and this thing's back end gets silly around the apex!! :happyanim: Here is a phone pic from my 46" Samsung LED. (non 3D) Brilliant Blue on black Rays!! :party0030::party0030::party0030::party0030: |
If this was suppose to be created with a focus on balancing the car for Drifting....It needs to have low end torque to power-over in the low speed sections of a Drift track/course. Can't throw in a no-torque producing high rev motor for the purpose of drifting. Time Attack sure, drift car....not exactly. FD most guys have V8's for that torque and power on tap, in D1 turbo motors making 400-500+whp usually have enough torque for their tracks (which are high speed drift tracks for the most part which don't require a lot of torque to begin with).
^^That blue and black wheels looks nice. Working on getting the 500,000 credit necessary to get the GSport right now. Damn it's more expensive than the ZR1. |

I actually want to buy a GTR and fix that thing up. I think the street cars are a lot more fun than the full on race vehicles. |
