Buy some cheap used WRX wheels with crap tires and go drift around on those. It's so much more fun, and a lot less worrying than burning up my stock tires. This car is easy enough to slide around without having to add much power.

Yeaa i use my stocks for drifting i have separate wheels for every day use.

Sorry to ask, but you DID disable TC/VSC right?

I tried to spin the car in a parking lot in the rain and it refused to do so with TC/VSC in the default state.
With the TC/VSC disabled (5 sec press), you can slide, but you can feel the car fighting the slide somewhat.

After the pedal dance, I filpped end for end a few times (on purpose of course).

Yeaa i did the pedal dance and yes i spun out a couple times lol

I never really got the hang of it until I had some time on a skidpad. Once you get some more practice you'll start to pick it up pretty quick, my main mistake was not being smooth enough with my throttle input after I entered a slide.

I easily burned a few 32nds off of my stock tires getting this right. It's much, much more fun on Pilot Super Sports but I refuse to ruin my good tires!

Not a long clip because I didn't want to stink up the garage too much :)

You need to do the pedal dance, otherwise it'll basically cut the engine.
Clutch in
~4500 RPM
Dump the clutch, and immediately get on the brakes with your left foot
You might not figure it out the first try
You'll need to play with how much throttle and brakes you're giving. If you see your revs are dropping give it a little less brakes.

Just make sure there's nothing around you, and if you feel like you're going to hit something or get into trouble or whatever, then clutch in, and brakes if you need to.

Hope this helped :)

If I had a longer sweeper I can slide it all day.

This was without clutch kick... if I clutch kick, zero issues sliding.
Engine is stock except for Crawford BPB.

hey alex, how many cats did you get to have sex to make the tires screech like that? :bellyroll:
