65-10 stops about 15 times. Cooled, did it again. Then after about 2 days layer was gone. Tracked it, layer was good for a week, bedded again. Point being, thats why I am switching to true street pads. |

I've had a few from people saying the were surprised the brakes didn't fade, so then they proceeded purposely TRY to fade them, and failed miserably. I may have been one of those people myself... |
I have had to serious adjust my braking habits. On the street I always coast, engine brake. With these pads I have been speeding up before stops and slamming on them to get heat in the pads. My drive is 15 minutes, one way I use the brakes maybe 5 times during the trip if I am lucky. Never get heat in them so wimpy street pads will feel racey.

I had been wondering if there was a street friendly pad for the sprint kit. Something like a Ferodo DSperformance or maye an EBC greenstuff etc.

Man... after Mike's initial review of this kit, I was already very seriously considering this kit. Now, after reading this, I'm feeling kind of sold. And I'm at work, so I haven't even seen the video yet.
