I had 5% on my old Carlos sainz celica and never got bothered because I literally never had the windows up more than half when driving.
I found out that at night you really cannot see out and when someone has their headlights on you, all you see are two little circles. Never again...just too dangerous. Legal ftw |

Visibility at night is why I say keep it legal. With 32% on the rear and side windows I have zero visibility problems at night.

I vote legal tint for your state. In NY it is 75% which is the stock tint. I decided not to get anymore because the car already draws attention and plus I drive a little over the posted limit at times...
I only got 1 tint ticket in my last car that metered at 21% but that was a family sedan |
