Same here, but good thing about silver is it looks clean when dirty and immaculate when washed..

SWP has s bunch of pearl in it that's a PITA to paint match and even from the factory you can see a pretty distinct difference in the color of the rear bumper to the rest of the car.

I'm sorry for you Toyota guys, you see us Subaru people are very familiar with Subaru's crap paint. I'm guessing You guys not so much so let me bring you up to speed. Subaru paint sucks, a lot. Always has.

You don't own a black car, it owns YOU.

I'd buy it if it was Yashio Factory Pink. :)

Also.. people don't seem to notice ORANGE cars. Been rear ended twice and almost hit on the 22East from some dumbass kid who changed 3 lanes over. Actually I think that was his negligence. lol

Hi all,
Just wanted to collect some information on people's experiences with the different colors.
For example, pretty much everyone agrees that black is the hardest color to keep clean, while White is easiest to keep clean. And I just read on a post that red fades the fastest.

What are some more generally true experiences about other colors?

I got a WRB because that's just how everything shook out, but GBS is still my favorite color. I will say, red and white both looked way better in person than I expected. Also, when it's dusk out, WRB is pure sex. Just downright gorgeous.

I like the metallic in DGM :)

iLuveKetchup 03-08-2013 11:33 PM

SSM doesnt show scratches & ages well. No need to wash ever.

DGM looks like a dirty black car after 10yrs under the sun.

SWP is really beige.

Black is not a color, it's a hobby.

Rock chips on WRB will make you cry. Nearly all the WRB I've seen (including mine) are super orange peeled.

I was just reading today a long-term test update on a Premium WRB - their first complaint was the paint was so bad the car could not even be delivered to them until they had it "corrected".

It only looks beige to you because you live in NYC; that charming brown smog-generated glow that passes for sunlight there is playing tricks on you. :D

Blue is the best, whether being World Rally Blue, Bayside Blue, Laguna Seca Blue, Lemans Blue or Viper GTS Blue. 71% of Earth is Blue as well. Update: pic heavy.
