Although I'm for uk (and white uk resident ) my misses is from Cebu and we spend a lot of time back there at our holiday home
In Cebu city ,inglish ,near San rookie chapel
I know Cebu city well ,pardo area where we stay as well near al la vista golf club
Sm and Ayala and also have travelled in Cebu island on family visits etc
I have been to Manila once as an experience never to forget

I love the phillipines and the people and look forward to retiring there 6 months of year

I love the crazy traffic and jeepneys over there from when we land at mactang airport at Lapa Lapa
I went to the Cebu car club meet last time I was there and was treated like a celebrity being a petrol head from the uk

Mixture of American muscle cars ,BMW and Porsche and even a uk mini owned by a japenese expat
What a great night we had talking cars and went street racing through Cebu
Amaizing night mixing with people that spend more ona car modifying it then many people in philipines own in a lifetime
American chopper motorbikes are big over there and of course I go round the garages and saw 3 wrx for sale which are dearer then a small brand new house for 1.8 million pesos

American muscle cars are big over tree
Wife's nephew has a 68 mustang 6.8 ltr I think with 11 mpg
When I put 1000pesos in it on fuel you want to see the look at the petrol attendants faces who work so hard for 3$ a day aprox
