Lag isn't the issue so much, I like a flat/linear curve. Boosted motors will never have that since you go offboost/on/off/on, etc if you are feathering the throttle. It's simply not what I prefer.

For a street car I'm fine with boost, but street driving is only one aspect that I'm looking for here. I'm totally fine with having slower laptimes.. it's HPDEs.. who cares.

Internet lingo.

But I'm sure you can't even spell "you" correctly. Nor have had any formal grammatical education.

Care to come at me again? Sam.

I was trying to add that distinct little mysterious tone to it.

Lol Figured it would've been tough already.

Dammit, Hachi is going to have it at me for going at a noob.

*sigh* :<

Edit: I should've just made note of his "U" when he said I couldn't spell.

You go off throttle/on throttle/feathering on the dyno? :P For tuning, but not for a power run normally :P 300hp in a light weight car will require a softer touch than I'm capable of on the track so I have no doubt I'll be lifting and getting back on it, with NA I can easily adjust what the car is doing with slight inputs, something I've never experienced as well in a turbo car on track.

Oh and it's probably also important to note that I would likely never pay the money they'd want for a turbo version of this car.. 35k or so for a turbo STI (if not more based on WRX->STI pricing and the pricing we are already getting as guesses for the regular car)? Yeah.. used Cayman or Cayman S all day long.

How much are used Cayman S going for now adays?

Also, how much hp would the BRZ STI need to keep up with Porsche on the straights?

Cayman S are about ... 62k start and I think it will need at least .... 320 hp to match or more to take a Cayman in the straight, assuming the BRZ sti gets heavier then the Cayman S and the stock BRZ, which reminds me how much is the new Genesis Coupe suppose to do with the 2.0t 280 turbo? 350hp? for V6 am I wrong? but it doesn't handle as well as the BRZ right? it's more like a Mustang without the 1800 suspensions

New GC is 274hp with turbo.

Corvette club track days must feel like racing in a GT with prototypes in le mans, passing you at light speed lol... but the man is right, you gotta pay to play...

You can find them easily in the mid 30s.

As for the second question, no idea, but it's still about feel and enjoyment over numbers for me anyways :)
