Saw myself tagged in here.

Why the quotes? We have plenty of pulls from back at 300 miles showing 165 or less to the tire on my dyno - AND I have pulls showing 150s,168,170,172/173 on the stock tune before reset and on the base ECUTEK map (supposedly stock) with the IAM set at 0.7.

I could have posted any of that as the before for the tune - But instead we waited till the car was totally stable HP wise after break in and gave the best possible conditions for the before pull. (Warm oil, cold coolant, fresh reset)

Look - my second run versus my most recent run (both in SAE) we made like 30 HP Yo!!!!!

Seriously - that *IS* my car's second pull ever in SAE vs the most recent in SAE. Both runs are stock and the only difference is the tune and a few (10,000) miles. But while it would make a cool marketing tool, its not REALLY representative is it?

This however - is totally apples to apples WITH a 1.0 IAM on the before pull to boot (despite the claims that stock is actually a 0.7 IAM). The car wasn't even removed from the dyno between the 2 pulls - it was strapped down exactly the same for days while Jason (Illusive) worked on the tune.

Compare that to some people (not the ones in this thread - I really don't know anything about them) who install a bunch of parts and THEN do an ECU reset for the "after" dyno.... (we have been able to make 5-6 HP repeatedly simply from just the ECU reset BTW - and we have posted that result too)

So... yeah - that was all over the place. But - the car made what it made dude.

And if you think my dyno reads high - check this FJ cruiser dyno out: :D

In retrospect - I should have just said "Don't drag me into this" - would have been a much shorter post :D

The quotes weren't meant in a bad way, but with everyone questioning dyno's locations/calibrations/whatever... I figured I'd be politically correct. I got called a troll for taking another dyno at face value in a vortech thread. Nothing against you, Boosted.
