What kind of ballpark figure are we talking here? I'm pretty close to just getting that alpine type-r in a box and calling it a day.

You talking about the type r 8 in the ported box? I heard one in a shop and wasn't impressed but would sound better in a car with cabin gain. Ballpark I think is 600-650 retail but I'll see what I can do.

Ya the ported one. I've heard decent things about them but haven't heard one in a car. Is that 600-650 with the sub? If that's just for the box I might be all set there. :bellyroll:

Yeah that would be the sub and box, retail on just the sub is around 300 I think. I'll let you guys know as soon as I hear back.

Waiting to hear back from the JL rep, CES just ended Friday so i'm sure they are backed up with emails and phone calls. Still working on it!!
