God damn, this is why I was considering Lighting Red. Freaking beautiful set up and I love the drifting video. Post up more when you get the chance!

I've got a 5d mk2, the rolling shot I believe was taken with a 7d.

Can you give me your opinion on 17' vs 18's in terms of daily driving and the occasional drift event? Is there a lot if noticeable difference? I'm not planning on upgrading power but is it still easy to kick out with the 18's your running? Thanks!

ill roller 12-21-2012 03:36 PM

To be honest, the car had like 400 miles on it when I put the 18's and coilovers on, so I can't give too much comparison. And I'm still trying to take it easy on the car, so I've only messed with sliding it around in the rain so far. From my experience with other low power cars, wheel weight and tire size will be the only really noticeable factors in drifitng.

As for daily driving, I'm still amazed by the ride with the coilovers and wheels. Aside from really big bumps that I now have to slow down for a little, the car rides just like it did from the factory, maybe better.

Dunno anything about oiling issues, but it's a stock car with a warranty... And yeah, I lucked out finding this house, dunno who you are though.
