The FRS version has a softer front spring much like the stock FRS. Some people prefer softer front springs and a heavier front bar. I just went for a 15 minute ride and the ride height on the front seems to have come down a bit. I don't have a perfectly even surface to check. The ride is not bad at all. Still patchy ice and sand on the roads, so no heroic driving. The rear spring is the one with a slight bit a variable rate, the front is linear from what I can tell. |

So my memory or measurements of "before" the install may be suspect, but the shop documented all the changes. Vorshlag Motorsports will publish an in depth report with lots of details/pictures on the their build blog soon.
What the shop measured from center of wheel to bottom of fender opening: Before / After LF 14.5" / 13.75" RF 14.5" / 13.5" LR 14.5" / 13.5" RR 14.5" / 13.38" So the ride height did drop about an inch. Again, I used the BRZ spring part number not the FRS part. Edit - added a picture after proper alignment With the front Whiteline bolts and rear control arm bushings, this was the best result: -1.25 front camber -2.23 rear camber (a bit more than I would like for daily driver) |
