Yea, you will be fine with 235's and coilovers. The only concern was with stock struts.

I just changed my mind and I'm getting TE37SL Black Edition 18x8.5+35 / 18x9.5+40 staggard set-up. They said its the perfect fit, I do hope so.

Thanks

Nice, I would have probably done the same if I were buying new.

What rubber do you plan on running? Nice set-up. Who is "they" that calls this the perfect combo, not that I'm disagreeing?
Thanks for sharing.

That staggered setup was made specifically for this platform by being flush all around and having plenty of clearance on the inside as well. This 18x9 +45 was meant for WRX's but is probably better performance wise by keeping a square setup.

How do you feel the car with those wheels? It is slowly or is the same?

It actually felt faster because they're lighter than stock lol.

I want say that your BRZ looks great! Sorry for thread jacking but would some 17x9 +45's have the same clearance with stock suspension as these 18x9 +45's or would there be a little more space for a wider tire? Thanks.

Thanks, I would say it would be about the same, you might get away with a 235 or even 245 depending on what tires since some run wider than others, but that would be pushing it without testing it first hand.

Thanks, I am thinking about playing it safe and get some 5mm spacers so that I can run a 245/40 and then the offset would be +40. Is there a detriment to the wheels or suspension by using spacers? I've noticed that alot of people don't like to use them.

Should be alright using a good quality spacer. People don't like them because it is just something extra that could possiby go wrong. I'm thinking of using a small spacer in the rear so it can sit a bit more flush all around.

I think a few people run the 17x9 +45 Enkei rpf1s maybe you can search what setups they use.

I purchased a set of TE37SL Black Edition 18x9s ... Now am considering the rubber choices while I wait for them to arrive. I'm on stock suspension currently, and was thinking about going with 245/35 ... what are your thoughts on clearance?

Sorry just saw this. I didn't have these wheels long with the stock struts but after looking around the forums I will have to say with 245's you will have to run a small spacer for clearance.

ahh love these wheels...but on stock suspension im just worried about rubbing
