Yep, but, Interstates are good for getting around cities - ;)

Sometimes it's fun to put your GPS on shortest distance instead of fastest route...

Sorry folks, the OP just triggered a back-in-the-day story - :bonk:

It was 1967 (before the Internet was a source of information) I was entering Paris in a VW bug with "USA" - military license plates. Side note - at the time the French were trying to kick US military presence out of France, therefore my car was a "target" to start with.

About 4 PM, I attempted to enter this traffic circle - with a MAJOR misconception! - :eyebulge:

"Unlike traditional roundabouts found in most places around the world, in France you must give way to the cars which are entering the roundabout."

After FINALLY getting into the circle, I worked my way to the outside and "escaped" on the first street that I could.

I did not crash.

THE END

99% of owners never try either.

The right answer: “It depends”

Lots of country driving on my most recent trip. But interstate hiways in southern IL is NO FUN. 😦

Tennessee can be entertaining in hill and mountain country. And Atlanta doesn’t have a mile of straight road and it can be fun.

This is true! But, backroads are far more interesting and so are the locals :)

Point well taken. Sometimes skirting the cities through the neighborhoods can be more interesting -

Oooo... lessons learned.

I chewed out my grandson for attempting to mow the lawn barefoot this spring. Caught him as he was wheeling it out.

this is starting to sound like the beginning of a really bad movie/porno..

"After the boss decide to close their strip club, the 6 devoted dancers come up with a plan to make enough to buy it back!"
