That's what I thought. So unless ft86speedfactory or some other vendor has some new old stock there is no way to get the "b" type new.

Any special deals to clear out the cs400, lol. Or are they still producing it regularly?

Multiple vendors still have 250 type B in stock. Generally they buy in bulk and will have new stock saved up even after production stops. So currently you can still buy new 250 type B for 1350$ or even 150 type B for 1180$. Ace appears to have stopped production of the type B. But still a lot of stock out there people can pick up.

Do the websites show in stock, or have you called and confirmed? I haven't heard of anyone having a type b setup in stock for quite a while now.

Secondaries are definitely longer than the Ace150...quite a bit.

The sites say in stock and can be purchased. I have not personally reached out to ask if they are actually in stock or if you will receive an email/refund after purchase saying no longer available etc... Seems like they would update website to reflect discontinued or out of stock, if it was no longer available. I purchased my 250 B about 8-9months ago.

Either way I almost purchased the JDL EL header as it seemed to pretty much be the second best header at a good price point, But then saw the ace 250 was barely more money and showed substantial gains. Personally I don’t see the point in not getting the best of each part available. But wouldnt be surprised if JDLs new EL design was now on par with ace.

Also updated the first post with info from JDL.

Good info on the original post.

Definitely would be interested in a group buy!

Would definitely be interested in a group buy. Very exciting to see another long tube header option for us that arent big UEL fans! The ACE is prohibitively expensive for us Canadians.

I would be interested in a group buy if priced well and we could get a decent oft tune for it

OFT VVT tables have been made public for most headers, this one can probably get a good start with the ACE VVT tables.

And a long tube header that retains the resonator on the intake tube!

As much as I like the Ace headers I already have an overpipe/front pipe combo so their setup doesn't work for me unless I redo the entire exhaust. The new JDL header on the other hand looks to fit the bill. Certainly down for a group buy.

Strange this would be my first post. Hi everybody! Put me on that grp buy if it materializes.

Yummy gains in torque

Also interested in a group buy if it comes about.
