I just want the Hachiroku successor, but I guess Toyota doesn't find us worthy.

I already told you we don't know. I can make up a few things that I would like as factory options. Do you want me to do that? Do you want me to list a few things that I hope they include but have no basis upon which to base that off of? Ok.

More recent article, Subaru is confirmed for U.S. sale. Matches what Autoblog reported too.

You sir, are everywhere it seems. I think you've been to every major Autoshow the FT-86 has been at. Are you a sponsored photographer or are you just a super amazing freelancer running a super amazing forum?

Either way, I eagerly await your next batch of photos.

And as for this Scion Concept, it doesn't mean SHIT. Especially considering since the last autoshow they said the next time we see it, it will be displayed as a Scion Concept. Doesn't mean they have decided who gets it, and what it will look like. It's just a Concept.

Thanks. I missed the part that Subaru had confirmed the US market for sure.

You guys do know, it's not that hard to remove the Scion decals and replace them with Toyota ones, right? RIGHT???

It really isn't a big deal, bring it out with the Solara name, or call it a Hilux, or call it a humvee, just bring it out!

That's not the point, we don't care what it's badged with, what concerns us is the fact that the car will be dumbed down if it's badged as a Scion and will have less options and will almost definitely not have a high-performance version.

Sure, but can you change the soul of the car? The US market tends to get the leftover crap/dumbed down versions of Euro/Japanese cars. If this comes out as a Scion, what are the odds that it doesn't even match the JDM Toyota version?

If it really doesn't matter, I will put Ferrari badge on it. Do you think it matters now?

True, not only Toyota, but other brands as well. Now China can get all the exclusive limited edition of high end cars, but the US has got not S**T. Consumer expectation on a brand decides how good the sale is. It was the reason some consumers chose Pontiac Vibe over Toyota Matrix and vice-verse.

many times actually.... The US got better equipped versions of both the Supra and 300zx than japan. The current crop of japanese cars in the US are definitely equally as good as their JDM counterparts.... It's mostly the european cars that are stupid when they're brought to the United States. Ford of all companies does a terrible job translating their euro models to the US. Look at the focus.... yeesh.
