I feel that the additional horse power, plus the new final drive, plus the performance package, plus the increased chassis rigidity, etc... could likely result in consistently quicker lap times or even 1/4 mile times. And by consistently quicker times. I mean the same driver in the same cars (2016 vs 2017) on the same tracks, doing lap, after lap, after lap, or run, after run, after run. BUT! maybe it wouldn't. Why is everyone giving me so much gruff on this??? I understand the differences are small. Any chimpanzee can see that by looking at the spec sheets.
