In that case, OEM crash bolts, an alignment, a helmet, and seat time at an autocross or at a track with an instructor.

It's a very capable car out of the box.

+consumables; tires, brake pads and fluid, oil, gas, etc.

Two words! Road trip!

Seriously, I hope you have been on a road trip in your car. My wife and went 2700 miles, 4 national parks, Las Vegas, grandma's house, 2 world Heritage sites, and every rest stop on the way lol. The car is amazing for two on a trip.

If only my wife didn't hate being in it for more than 10 mins. :iono:

why? 03-23-2016 02:11 PM

I'd go lightweight. Pulleys, flywheel, driveshaft, wheels, seats, body panels. But then my car is my dd and lightweight makes everything better. Suspension and lighter bbk too maybe if tracking. Fortune Auto.

Thought about weight reduction too because that's mostly a DIY saving you some money. Next question is FI or NA.... Definitely wheels/tires though.

Really? This thread is for real? I gonna be little blunt here. If you're not gonna do your OWN homework to figure out what YOU want out of YOUR car. Just go to your local tuning shop, give them the car key, $10k, ask them to make it better and call it the day.

From driving this car and figuring out what you want from this car and research it is part of the fun of owning this car... but that's just me.

I know, it comes around every year. I think I posted in a similar thread back in 2013. LOL

Take the $10k, the car, and trade it in for a 2016 Camaro SS. Still may need to toss a little more in. :D

Lynxis 03-23-2016 04:50 PM

I'd get some nice coils, exhaust and tune, wheels and tires and brakes. Oh wait, that's exactly what I'm doing except I'm spending about 7k instead of 10.

fumanchu1 03-23-2016 04:55 PM

buy a book on how to research your own opinions?

go_a_way1 03-23-2016 04:58 PM

10k.... hmmm I could spend that on coilovers really fast?
