I definately think there will be 3 different versions. the baby FT86, the high reving 2.0 and a turbo version. im counting on the middle one.

zayres29 10-14-2010 01:03 AM

what will power the baby if the middle trim is the 2.0L

i really hope they can get at least the 2.0L in the 20K range cause i DONT want to have to settle for a gutless 1.5 inline 4

There's no way they would put a 110hp engine in this car

this car is way too beautiful to waste on such a pointless engine with no potential

There's always swapps available, and if a version comes with a boxer engine, then you could almost swap either one you like....EJ25......EJ20 what ever you like

NikostC 10-14-2010 10:33 AM

I think they will make the baby priced in the same area as the current scion (18995) since they said it might take away from tC sales.. but i think the middle trim with the 2.0L boxer engine should be priced cheaper than a GTi and around the price of the current civic Si (22,205) at most.... since they are thinking about turboing the next gen Si..

That's a different car, based on a rwd converted aygo hatch.

Baby!?

Oh right the hatchback. Light weight, 2200lbs.
If it even makes it to America it would be at least 2012 before this thing is done. 1 1/2 liter and hatchback with RWD has my attention. Sorry guys but I'm too practical for my own good.
