Reminds me of a back-in-day Army story. It was a hot, humid day at Fort Benning, GA when us IOBC (Infantry Officer Basic Course) students were herded into a barbed wire compound in the middle of a swamp. After a couple days of "POW torture" about a dozen students grabbed up a log (that was used to make us kneel on during our torture) and headed for the gate.

All was going well till the cadre drug down the first few soldiers off the log and the breakout attempt collapsed. Yep, we were all tortured longer for that attempt. Yep, eating raw rabbit and under cooked rice ...... but, I've already told that story - ;)
