They are exponential it just doesn't seem like it because we only see the bottom of the curve. And one of the reasons centris have such good efficiency up top

Yes it is squared, pressure ratio vs impeller rpm. (ideal)

Or simply don't claim you know stuff unless you are 100% certain but ask instead.
Engineers aren't typically known to be eyeball science/math magic wand wavers, AKA " looks good" fire hazard type of people :D

How do you know if somebody's an engineer? Don't worry - they'll tell you.
