I reckon my 60S will be slightly louder as I had the catless header and high flow catted front pipe setup.

They did not state if the test was done with other exhaust components installed or if it was just the catbacks.
But this does give a good comparison between w/ and w/o the silencers in place.

Lol, I had the cam resting on top of the mic and got rolled on by security so it was the only take I got.

When you are just cruising around and keep the RPM's low, it is actually pretty quiet and subtle. Now if you were to run it up to redline, I do think you would attract some attention to yourself as it does have a nice bark under wide open throttle and high RPM's.

I would agree that this accurately describes the 60s

Usually they will test it with the rest of the exhaust system as stock to give an insight of the noise level, but then again, you could be right though.

Any idea how far away from the car this was measured from?

Thinking of the autoX noise requirements.

sounds so good. How do you (or anybody) think that it would sound with a catted frontpipe/overpipe/headers? Too loud for a dd?

m.wood0213 10-30-2013 07:10 PM

I don't like the single exit. When they release a dual exit I'll be I interested.

I like how 80R with silencer is louder than 60S without. lol
