Just finished installing my 60s and it sounds amazing. It can sound a bit loud when you get on it, but also stock during cruise. Also, I did not experience and springs rattling.

Quick idle video after the engine has has warmed.

Any clearance issues for that 80?

Can you throw the silencer in and shoot another quick vid with increased revs ?

HAHA,

I meant ground clearance.

How much clearance is there from the bottom of the exhaust to the road, at your current height?

Both the 80 and the 60S were pretty close to the ground. With that said we have yet to even scratch it. With the location of the dip, it sits in-line with the wheels, so as long as you don't straddle a curb or anything, you should not have any issues.

Hope this helps. :)
Thanks,
Rick

I remember back in the days before these exhausts were released. Does anyone else remember that? Waaaay back in early October 2013 and beyond. We kept waiting and waiting for the sacred exhausts to be released, and finally they were!

Now it's the front pipe saga...

60s

Considering the 60s in Maryland. Anyone have any advice/suggestions? Normally the cops don't bother me, but I work late at night. Normally I am the only one on the roads. I am afraid if I buy the 60s, I will have a line of 10 cop cars after me on the ride home. What are the noise levels really like? It's the 60s or nothing. Nothing else will satisfy my sound lust.

I run this exhaust on my personal BRZ, and I think this is actually a really good question. It seems we have a similar mentality when it comes to the exhaust and the noise, so here is my take on it.

I personally think you would be fine. When you are just cruising around and keep the RPM's low, it is actually pretty quiet and subtle. Now if you were to run it up to redline, I do think you would attract some attention to yourself as it does have a nice bark under wide open throttle and high RPM's. For me, this exhaust is just about perfect, if it were much louder I don't think I would have it on my car, but if it were quieter, I don't think I would enjoy it like I do. When I am just going from point A to B, I almost don't even notice it, but when I want to have some fun with the car, the sound is intoxicating.

Anyway I'm getting a bit off topic haha. With anything like this, always use your best judgement and go with what you think will work for you. Also we do offer our RallySportGuarantee on this item, so we allow you to try it out for up to 30-days from the invoice date, and if you don't like it, we are happy to take it back, minus the shipping charges.

Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Rick

For those concerned about noise levels, has there been a video posted with silencer installed ??

There doesn't seem to be much discussion on the silencer, which makes question it's effectiveness...
