Out of curiosity, what oil filter are you using? Subaru black?

Yep. Black Subaru stock filter and OEM fluids, all of which appear to be top quality as far as I can tell (and as far as the oil analysis indicates). I had a TBN done on one of my earlier samples, and based on that I believe you could actually run this oil 10K to 11K miles before you deplete the additive package. At the 7.5K intervals I run, this oil is nowhere close to being spent.

The car is also mechanically stock.

I've heard the Subaru black filters were top notch. Didn't know the OEM fluids were as well. Good to know, thanks for sharing your results!

Over here, were it rains every other day, cars rarely last more than 15 years. However I had a 15 year old Renault that didn't have any body rust, it died due to blown head gasket and I drove it till it stopped in a clattering, spluttering and finally silent coast to a halt. She died well.

1.5 years in my twin has no rust except the disc brakes.

2013 with 94,000 miles. Battery, tires, valve cover leak, windshields and oil changes is all I've done maintenance wise. I get a coil code every now and then lately. I got wheels, lowering springs and a uel header with tune as well.

No spark plug change?

Nope. However at 100,000 I'm doing that plus much more.
