F**K YEAH!! That feeling tho

Sometimes when it's raining and I don't have the car cover over it, I walk over to my window, pull down a blind or two and just admire the car lol....I bet I look like a creeper

but to the original post, I love it when there's a shiny SUV in the front that gives the reflection of the car, it's like "Dang...looking good" ;3

Came in here expecting an American Psycho meme. Leave disappoint.

tekFRS234 04-21-2015 10:40 PM

Hahaha... Yes, I do this. There is a building downtown with one-way, mirror-like windows at street level. I even took a pic once but deleted it ...because what kind of dork does that. Bad habit to start. :party0030:

To be fair, the pic is from 2010, long before the twins arrived.

Hurry up & trade it in. You're not getting any younger.

Ahhhh, so the question now is: Do you still look?
If the answer is yes then you may not want to get rid of it yet because you will regret it no matter how much you love the new car.

Indeed, the answer is "yes!" Not as shiny as the day I bought her, but no plans to trade her in, not even for a 6th gen (although, quite tempting).

The Wife owns the beautiful '15 asphalt FRS (lets me drive it), so no need for a trade-in/up. And between the two, I think we've got 2 of the finest looking cars on the road... Peel off the outer layer, we've got 2 of the safest & reliable cars on the road. :party0030: (600hp in my garage)

I'm sure one day i'll have a 'reflection pic' of the FRS, but it's only a couple weeks old still, and I need to do a thorough wash/clay bar/wax first. :D

extrashaky 04-24-2015 11:55 AM

I do it. And when I do, I'm thankful I have tinted windows so that I don't frighten myself when I see who's driving it.

The best description of that I've seen was when someone here on the board had an FR-S, and his girlfriend had a BRZ, and someone commented something like, "Which do I want to drive today, the happy 86 or the angry 86?"

Damn I've been doing this ever since I could drive. I'm always afraid of hitting some old lady on the crosswalk though.

dubbrand 04-24-2015 07:08 PM

When my dad retired and bought his Corvette he let me drive it with him in the car. First thing I did was took him past my favorite windows. Told him to get ready and look to his right then slowed down a little so he could check it out as we drove by.

Obja 04-24-2015 07:34 PM

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES I LOVE IT YESSSSSSSS

Tromatic 04-24-2015 08:38 PM

Nope. It's a sexy little car, and I'm grateful I can have one.

wickedfrsgrl 04-25-2015 10:47 PM

I do it all the time. Just can't help myself looking at that sexy car driving by. So much sexier then that Focus hatchback I traded in. POS.

PeterFRS 04-25-2015 11:57 PM
