The colors matched up perfectly. It's the lighting and camera angles throwing it off

First, let me lead with this is not a rant around the retailer, they have to make a profit, and MOST sell at the best price for them and us. If they could get them lower that sell them for lower, that said....

[RANT=DadHawk]

This is what aggrevates me about OEM parts in general. I'm sorry but I don't for one minute believe the headlights are 13% of the cost of the car to produce. I could understand if they were some limited edition, super-freaky, one-off limited edition headlights but these are mass-produced devices on a mass-produced car.

Don't try to explain it to me, I get it, its reality, I just had to get that off my chest!

[/RANT]

the car is white so it might be your computer color adjustments.

Flip 06-13-2012 12:00 PM

Will this kit be available straight from the dealer like the Celica Action Package?

DubGUy 06-13-2012 12:20 PM

kewl, notice the white GTR inside of the garage behind the FR-S.

JERZgrl88 06-13-2012 12:54 PM

I thought I was the only one that noticed that.

Nice mods to the OP and the GTR.

alluringreality 06-13-2012 01:48 PM

The pictures make it look like there's an uneven gap between the front bumper and the hood near the lights.

tripjammer 06-13-2012 02:03 PM

Has anybody installed the BRZ HID lights on an FR-S yet?

Not sure if anyone has done it yet, but this thread shows it's possible to equip either:

jedichimp 06-13-2012 02:37 PM

Only reason I would be interested in the BRZ swap is for the integrated turn-signals in the headlights. I like the fogs alone being in the lower bumper but then again the bumpers are different.

FT86Katsu 06-13-2012 02:40 PM

Brz headlights don't fit. There different.

Not according to this thread unless you know something they don't.

I hadn't got to that page on there yet! Haha. So my bad! It wasn't there when I read it :/

jedichimp 06-13-2012 02:51 PM

Any pictures of the rear? That's the only part of the kit I'm really interested in. The front license plate notch kind of kills it, for me.

Davyator 06-13-2012 03:04 PM

I vote for the FIVE:AD kit as it looks better imho.

So why did you double post that they don't fit if you didn't know for sure and had no proof? Especially after I had linked a thread where it said that could be done, which was then linked again by someone else?

Hachi6 06-13-2012 03:26 PM

Do you have any full car shots without the rear on? I wanted to purchase the kit less the rear and wanted to see how that would look.

Thanks!

I will post up pictures of the rear as I havent had a chance to install it yet on the car.

blur 06-13-2012 03:46 PM

Good to know I'll never be able to afford 86 headlights :(
