Got around to completing two of four installs today...Still have to torque the bolts on the differential mount support bar though. I needed a crows foot but l left my set at work. Pretty straight forward installs.

Hex bolts supplied with the Beatrush Differential Mount Support Bar are 12mm with a thread pitch of 1.25 and a rating of 10.9. I will torque them to 80 ft/lbs even though the bolt specs can handle more. The OEM bolts are torqued to 46 ft/lbs.

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...0Torques01.png

Torques for the Rear Sway Bar bolts are:
Rear Stabilizer Bracket - 22 ft/lbs
Stabilizer (End) Link - 28 ft/lbs

Hey man, quick question, when you installed the pillow ball mounts, did it "lower" the car more? Figured I'd ask you since you're running it, vs making a post about it lol.. Thanks man

I installed the pillow ball mounts with my pre-adjusted RS*R coilovers so I don't really know how much of an effect the mounts had on the ride height. Are you looking to install these with springs, coilovers, or OEM suspension?

I'm going to be installing them on my basis coilovers since they don't come with the top mounts.. I just don't want them to end up being lower because I hate adjusting ride height lol. Awesome build man!

Thanks for the comp on the build.

I'm leaning towards that any change in ride height whether + or - will be negligible.

I'm picking up the Beatrush front tower bar, rear tower bar and strut tower brace.

Would i be required to get an alignment after that?

Awesome... you won't be disappointed.

You will not require an alignment... the installs will be very straightforward... let me know if you need any info on the installation that I did not address in this thread.

@zeal86
Do you have more pictures of the rear top hats? I'm thinking of picking them up but not sure if they will with as I'm not going to be running 60/65mm springs and am worried that I might buy them and not be able to use them.
Thanks! Great photos.

I'll look to see if I have any pics from when I tried to install them. I am not running those because when I went to install them, the supplied threaded spacer/collar was too small a diameter for the RS*R coilovers... so I couldn't accommodate the pillow mounts without acquiring the proper hardware. This was not an issue for the fronts though.

This is what I got for pics...

Collar / Spacer Interior Diameter

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...20Diameter.jpg

Shaft Diameter

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...20Diameter.jpg

Too small a diameter for the RS*R sports-i coilovers which are listed as ID 65mm. Beatrush pillow ball mounts are listed as ID 60mm.

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...20Coilover.jpg

Great quality just like everything else I own from Beatrush...just not the right size for my set up.

Hope this helps...

Only a bit, was more interested in the spring/top hat cup interface, you've got pics of the top of the mounts, but not the bottom. It seems like the spring is located via a 60/65mm ID lip but I don't want to make a $300 gamble on that.

Totally see what happened to you though, the specs for damper shaft diameter are not published on any site that sells the Beatrush that I've seen (or I'm blind), seems like they're meant for OE or OE replacements and many damper manufacturers use a standard size across their lineup that may not match with OE.

Which agrees with your measurements, that spacer/bushing should fit an M10 thread which includes OE, Ohlins, Bilstein, KW, Koni, etc. but not brands like Fortune Auto, MCS, and RSR (which you're measuring just under 12 so I assume it's M12 like the others).

And if that bushing is threaded or there's a special nut that comes with it the thread pitch could also reduce the compatibility by a lot.

Beatrush Suspension Products (Unboxing, Install, & Review)

Hi just wonder how does the transmission spacer feel? And noise level?

I know Custco makes a metal spacer, but it seems beatrush one is much better for daily.
Mind sharing your thought? Thank you.

So sorry I can't help you with your decision at this time... Since I have a daily driver and I have been waiting on some parts...I left my 86 on jacks after the install.

I'll be installing my HKS v3 supercharger and other performance mods soon as well as a couple more non-suspension Beatrush parts.

I'll post my experience with the transmission mount bushing spacer once I get her back on the road. However, I won't be able to give a naturally aspirated opinion about the part.

It's been a while since I last posted in this thread... fortunately I feel that my 86 will be back on the road soon. Many of my Beatrush suspension upgrades will be subjected to more power so there should be a feeling out period perhaps some tweaking.

For now, check out this non-suspension Beatrush goodie... Pictured below is the Beatrush air intake duct. Because I am in the middle of my HKS supercharger pro kit v3 install, I do not know if I will be able to use this duct without modification... I will know soon though. Also, there could possibly be a fitment issue with my Beatrush front beam brace and my HKS intercooler... I'll know the answer to that soon as well.

This thing is beautiful!

The 86 has been running great... I will start opening her up soon... I got to test my suspension by accident last week. lol I had to avoid some debris in the road... My Beatrush suspension had me feeling like I was on rails... so solid, I felt no chassis roll! Awesome!

A big thank you to zeal86 for the detailed instructions. I installed the Beatrush rear member support rod and the front member support bar along with a Beatrush underpanel and Cusco front lower arm bar braces.

This post was a huge help in the install as well as my decision to go ahead and purchase the Beatrush products. They do improve the ride as well as go a long way to tighten up things as well. Very happy with all these products I put in. Thanks again for all the detail.

zeal86 11-11-2016 07:04 PM

I love the finish of all my Beatrush parts... In fact, I modified my build's theme to incorporate the Beatrush gold instead of painting or powder coating over the color.

Since I will be installing a harness bar from Essex Parts Services, I wanted to paint it Beatrush gold to go along with my theme and create some contrast in my interior.

For those interested, the output color code my friend's spectrometer spit out is shown in the accompanying image.

Hey @zeal86,

Does the rear bumper brace protrude less than the stock brace?
