I actually feel bad for the people who's first answer isn't "drive it", whatever comes after that.

Maybe getting the FR-S is the key to the fountain of youth. I'm originally from Anchorage. I would love to take the FR-S to Alyeska (sp?)and back. That would be an epic drive. All those curves with vertical mountains on one side and the ocean on the other.

Living in the Pac NW we have some great roads through and around the Cascade Mountain Range and also out to the coast. The canyon carving along rivers is amazing out here and I take full advantage in the spring/summer.

Cruises, work on it, autocross, donuts, track days, camping(thank god for folding rear seats), trying drift and drag this year, hard parking(jokes).

Thorpedo 02-10-2015 06:39 PM

Oh, and for the cruises I typically visit the Cabot trail a couple times a year ;):burnrubber::burnrubber:

You all need matching jackets or something.

Stavio Pass in Italy, would be nice to drive on this.

chaoskaze 02-10-2015 08:13 PM

Track, went to car meet a few times then realize they just do meaningless cruise and mod their car for show... So I kind lost interest on that.

Didn't Nino Karotta film some of his review there? Looks awfully familiar.

Wife and I are headed over there to visit her brother stationed at Greenwood in June. Now all I have to do is convince her that we take my car!
On an unrelated note, does anybody know how to knock somebody out for 2 or 3 days while riding in a car?

NS was on my list of choices to move to when I try to move to Canada. This is definitely going into the pros list for NS.

Seibon FA Carbon hood. Would not recommend if you live anywhere it rains, engine and electronics get soaked, but looks really cool. haha In fact we just had a rain storm last night and my headlights shorted out. Fixed now

Amaya 02-10-2015 11:29 PM

I drive it everyday, everywhere, and do just about everything with it and have a blast in the process. Except beautiful days like today (Texas winters are wonderful) when I ride my bike.

I'm 20 minutes from Greenwood, let me know when you're coming, bring the car, and we will do the Cabot!

No, no... You say tomato, I say super cool, light, fast sun-dried tomato. I dig what you're doing!

Mim 02-11-2015 01:16 AM

Sadly I only get to drive it daily to work and home, but at least its all year round and generally enough fun for me. Can't imagine the pain of having to deal with snow like so many of our US brothers.

ScottyDo 02-11-2015 01:32 AM

I wash it and give it a nice coat of wax. Then I just look at it from afar.

86geek 02-11-2015 01:58 AM

drive it to work/home every day...washing it every week and detail every other weekend...then stare at my sexy car after it gets a nice layer of Optimum Instant Detailer....lastly make my ex gf who's full of envy, when she sees me driving my car during the work week. :D

jaorocks1 02-11-2015 02:02 AM

I drive 10/10ths and am still within speed limit because I can.

Way back when, I drove that road in my Norton Production Racer, camping alongside the road since the bike broke almost daily due to failed electrics.

burdickjp 02-11-2015 08:54 AM

I put 3k miles on mine in 2 weeks. The greater majority of it on fun roads. Had a kid at cars and coffee tell me to learn to wash my car. I informed him that I have fun in mine, thank-you-very-much.

Takumi788 02-11-2015 09:12 AM

In the nice 6 months of the year - Track days and Touge runs in the Adirondacks.

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-o...I_DE1_0329.JPG

The other 6 months of the year - I stare at it and start it once or twice a month just to remind me what my car payments are for. Then I'll sit it in and close my eyes picturing myself at a track day. Then I will stare at the massive pile of parts I am waiting to spring to install.

There is not a hope in hell she will agree to taking my car!
The two times she has been in it was nothing but constant bitching about everything and anything!
"Too bumpy"
"Too loud"
"Too low"
"Too fast" (around corners)
"Going to get run over by a truck"
"Seat is to uncomfortable"
"Everybody is staring at me"

It may be a pain sometimes but there's lots of fun to be had during the winter. Driving events on frozen lakes for example.

U.S. brothers be damned. Try having one in Canada! (Although admittedly this year some of the U.S. guys have had it way worse then in my area)
