Was nice to put some faces to the people here.
Thanks for the pics Chermo. I didn't think there was anything that could make a Celica look big but I managed to pull it off.

Who took home trophies?

My favourite frs of the show has gotta be the the silver car with the Kraftwetks supercharger kit. Loved how simple and clean it was coupled with the power to back it up.

Owner is a really nice and humble guy too!

The fun part is that walking around I heard 5 different stories as to what happened from different people that "saw the whole thing".
Really supports the whole "ask as many witnesses as possible and then take the story someplace in the middle as accurate" investigation method.

Yeah he knows what he's talking about to, not one of those owners who just funds a mechanic and has no idea what they paid for other than "its fast yo"

Did anyone find out how much that owner paid for that Kraftwerks FR-S?

It was at a Toyota dealer in Brampton for some time

:laughabove: Absolutely true !
but
Although witnesses were canvassed, the statements are unnecessary due to the physical evidence on the road proving exactly what happened.
No subpoenas for conflicting witnesses (to much work for the tail light chasers and crown clowns).
;)
The only statement the cop wants is from the Toyota waiting to turn in -
"I was stopped for more than 5 seconds when I got hit".
goodbye FOLLOW TO CLOSE - hello CARELESS DRIVING.

That poor RX8 had just been finished too.

At least us non locals got to see the local speed tax collector ghost car, gonna be hard to recognize , keep yer eyes peeled open !

Damn it! You were there as well? How did I miss finding so many of you guys? Gonna carry a big sign around next time (unless of course you were avoiding me in which case that is fine too).

I chatted with him for a bit. He mentioned it was ~$5000. Puts down 300 wheel from what he said. 10psi. Also running WMI for safety. Overall, it was pretty clean and well executed. He just needs an oil cooler to complete the package. It's tuned with EcuTek. We pretty much agreed Kraftwerks is the way to go if you want a supercharger. I like the auxillary pulley system that is self contained as opposed to other kits.
